The Berghotel Türlwand is the gateway to the fantastic Dachstein Glacier World. Next to the hotel is the Dachstein valley station, which takes you up to 2,700 m above sea level. Already during the ride with the Dachstein glacier cable car you will experience the breathtaking mountain scenery and especially in the winter months it is possible to look as far as Slovenia with good visibility - mountains as far as you can see.
From autumn-winter season 2022/23 there is no more alpine skiing on the Dachstein!
In responsibility towards nature and economy, skiing operations on the Dachstein Glacier will be suspended in the autumn-winter season 2022/23. The cable car, the glacier restaurant and the Dachstein attractions will continue to be open as usual.
Ski tours, cross-country skiing and winter hiking will also continue to be possible.

However, for those who like to take their turns on groomed slopes, there are many opportunities for this winter pleasure not far from our hotel.
Skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein
In Ramsau am Dachstein in the middle of the Ski amadé ski area, families with children and beginners will find optimal conditions.
The family ski area with its practice lifts and wide ski meadows can be reached from the Berghotel Türlwand via the ski path down to the valley. From here you have a magnificent view of the snow-covered mountains of the Tauern and the Dachstein south walls.
The ski region Ramsau offers 10 family-friendly ski lifts and 23 kilometers of slopes, here skiing experience away from the mass skiing is guaranteed!

Skiing in Filzmoos
Only 20 minutes by car from the hotel is the Filzmoos ski area - part of the Ski amadé ski network.
A quieter ski area for connoisseurs with:
- 20 kilometres of pistes directly in the village
- comfortable lifts, hardly any waiting times
- wide pistes with plenty of freedom of movement
- Michaela Kirchgasser FIS course on the Großberg
- Award as "TOP skiing area up to 20 km of pistes"
4-Mountain Ski Area
The 4-Mountain Ski Area Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm captivates with its surrounding mountain panorama. A dream for all skiing fans. Here skiing becomes an unforgettable experience.
