Hiking trails for young and old
Many hiking trails lead directly in front of the hotel into the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Dachstein. The highlight with us in winter are the snowshoe hikes. Experience nature in white splendor and enjoy the fresh mountain air and silence.
On the Ramsau high plateau (1,100 to 1,400 meters above sea level), flat walking paths and leisurely family hikes are ideal. In the alpine area (1,700 to 1,900 meters above sea level) there are traditional mountain huts and managed alpine pastures, as well as particularly beautiful circular hiking trails with impressive vantage points.
In winter as in summer, in Ramsau there are hiking trails for everyone!
Winter hiking trails
Ski trail Türlwand
On ascent, you will walk through a beautiful meadow up to Gasthaus
Edelbrunn, followed by forest passages and the open terrain of the
alpine pasture region. Traditional mountain huts like the Dachsteinhaus,
Brandalm, Austriahütte, Walcheralm and Glösalm will tempt you to stop
for a little break. On this tour, you can enjoy picturesque views onto
the snow-covered mountains of the Tauern mountains and the Dachstein
Südwand.
Larch trail
The Larch Trail, also known as Lärchen Weg, is a connecting trail
between Ramsau Ort and the trailhead of the "Ski Trail Türlwand".
Starting from Hotel Lärchenhof, a forest trail will take you to Gasthof
Edelbrunn, approx. 45-minute walk.
Sattelbergweg
The Sattelberg Trail is a connecting trail between Obere/Untere Leiten
and Ramsau Rössing. It is also possible to join the Panorama Loop Trail
or the Leiten Loop Trail.
