I was allowed to stay here for a week, at the foot of the Dachstein. The hotel is ideally located for many winter sports activities, I loved simply setting off with my snowshoes and enjoying myself. There was a small sauna to relax my muscles and my energy levels were restored with delicious food (salad, soup, main course and dessert - the vegetarian option for me). I had a small single room with everything I needed and a marvellous view of the sunset. There is enough space for skis, snowshoes and toboggans in a ski room. This meant I could always get my cross-country skis in shape, as cross-country skiing is excellent down in the valley. The best thing about this hotel is the great and super-nice team around the Höflehner family. There is still a lot of family with heart here. Many thanks for this great time with you.

If you want to enjoy a breathtaking view, a warm welcome, good food and a good time, this is the place for you! We were able to get to know the host family and I can say that I have never been so warmly welcomed and never felt so well looked after. Everything done right! Spent 2 nights at the hotel at the end of a hut tour. Super friendly, always smiling staff. Very entertaining. Breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. From 2 nights you get the Sommercard and it's absolutely worth it. Thank you for a wonderful time.

A warm welcome, a nice chat every day, clean, immaculate rooms and a bombastic view from the balcony. Unfortunately, I was only there for 2 nights. The remoteness at this altitude, almost complete darkness at night and the panorama when I woke up.
The breakfast is absolutely sufficient, I had no special requests. Various fresh rolls and bread, plenty of sausage, cheese, jams, Nutella, honey, eggs, fruit and vegetables.
Unfortunately, I was so busy that I didn't manage to visit the restaurant. Next time then.

We can warmly recommend the accommodation in all respects. We felt wonderfully comfortable here. The rooms were great with a wonderful view. Clean and absolutely quiet. The food with half board is recommendable. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and if something extra was needed, that was no problem. If you want to enjoy the peace and nature, this hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel definitely deserves more than 5 stars. It was my first time at the Berghotel, what can I say. The food is great, in my opinion the portions are very large, you will definitely be full and there is absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The breakfast was also perfectly adequate, we were always asked if we wanted anything else, which is not the case everywhere. The rooms are clean and I didn't want for anything, the view of the mountains is a dream. I was very touched by the warmth and friendliness I was shown, it was like coming home for me. Despite the bad weather, it was an unforgettable vacation for me. It was definitely not the last time I was there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this unique vacation.

We just got home before our long weekend in Ramsau. We had such a wonderful time. And the Berghotel Türlwand was just right for us. First things first: you rarely find a hostess as nice and lovely as Renate. And everyone else we had contact with was also very friendly, kind and courteous. We noticed the friendliness of the people in Ramsau in general. The food at the Türlwand was also very good, especially the Ramsau soup pot tasted very good to me personally. And the price-performance ratio is very good overall. The rooms are partly newly renovated, partly not yet, but that doesn't mean it was bad, as you can see from the pictures. And the view from our 206 was simply wonderful.

The hotel is situated at over 1700 meters above sea level, so you don't need a vehicle for hiking. The cable car up to the Dachstein is also almost on the doorstep. Very friendly staff. Food pipifein. Rooms are clean and nice. All in all, highly recommended.

I stayed at the Berghotel Türlwand with my granddaughter (9 years old) for a hiking vacation. The location directly in front of the Dachstein is simply fantastic and picturesque. If you're on vacation here, you shouldn't expect anything fancy. The focus here is on the breathtaking landscape. Nevertheless, you will receive a very friendly and attentive welcome from the manager. The entire staff is simply great. Very attentive and sociable, especially towards my granddaughter, who was the only child in the house during our stay. We felt very comfortable in the family atmosphere. And: The kitchen should not go unmentioned. Great menu in keeping with the character of the house. We loved the food, especially the breakfast. I would choose the Berghotel Türlwand again at any time for a vacation on the Dachstein.

When a weekend feels like a whole week We felt so comfortable. We were guests from Friday to Sunday and couldn't have done better. Many thanks to the lovingly hospitable host family. They were so helpful and incredibly friendly. We felt very welcome. Our room was a corner room with a great view all around. Right next to the lift, so we were able to dash straight off to cross-country skiing. The windows in the room were well sealed so that no noise could penetrate from outside and everything was dead quiet at night so that we could sleep wonderfully. We had half board and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Down-to-earth, very tasty food! Soup, salad, main course (you could choose between two) and dessert. No fancy food, we were full to the brim. Breakfast also had everything you need. Homemade cake on Sunday. My highlight, however, was the hotel cat that cuddled on my lap at dinner. It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you for this time out, we'll be back!

We stayed at the Berghotel Türlwand in the first week of January. A family-run hotel with a lot of comfort. We had already experienced this in 2009. This is the kind of Austrian vacation we have always appreciated. Mother and daughter run the “store” and are always very friendly. Even if they have been serving excursion guests for hours, there is always a smile on their faces. The other staff from the kitchen to the chambermaids are also always friendly. The hotel is located at an altitude of approx. 1750 m directly at the Dachstein cable car. The bus connection in front of the door takes you to Ramsau and Schladming. So you can leave your car parked. Our room and bathroom were sufficiently large, clean and functionally furnished. If you expect a designer bathroom with rain shower, you have to go to the 4 and 5 star “schicki micki hotels” in Tyrol. We had a large balcony with a great view over the mountains. The boss had said that the balcony had a sea view. If I had stood on the tips of my feet.... We had chosen half board for our stay.

The food was excellent. Always a salad buffet, a very good soup and two main courses to choose from (also vegetarian) Very good desserts. The chef sometimes came around the corner with a great Kaiserschmarrn. The cozy dining room invited you to linger. There was always a personal conversation, even with the man of the house, who still runs his farm in the valley. If you want to spend a nice, cozy and relaxed vacation with good food and nice people, this is the place for you. And with top value for money. Türlwand can only be recommended.

Super hotel directly below the Dachstein with a magnificent view of the mountain panorama. Rooms are cozy, clean and tidy. The food was plentiful and delicious. Very friendly welcome and I felt very comfortable there. The Swiss stone pine schnapps will stay in your memory. You quickly find distance and peace in these wonderful surroundings.
